Lunar Observation

Feb. 2, 2012

I was hoping for some clear sky and found a mostly blanketed sky. The only object visible, aside from the moon, is Jupiter. I ruled out imaging Jupiter because of the clouds running across it and I know imaging it will only get me a lousy image.

Here's one of the series of quick images I took of our nearest neighbor.

I also did a short high power observation and a quick image of one prominent crater called Copernicus.
